Marmots are spoken - will come the spring, the spring of this year.

Staten Island Chuck prediction made last week even though it was bombed by the ice storms during the latest in a seemingly endless series of winter.

"Spring is coming," said Mayor Bloomberg, as woodchuck humid instead of rising.

His wooden house surrounded by a layer of ice, and limited external Chuck seemed unfazed by the crowd of photographers and fans.

The eating Marmot seemed more interested in one ear, and eagerly picked it up before the mayor and interprets noise words.

"What mayor in the world will say a long wet winter? Bloomberg joked.

The mayor noted that the winter weather of the morning, ironically, the prognosis of early spring have resulted. The sun was not found in the cloudy sky, appear to avoid the shadow of Chuck.

Although several marmots local forecasts - including Mel Malverne, on Long Island - canceled its forecasts because of bad weather, Chuck Pennsylvania was published shortly after the famous clock 07.15 rodent Punxsutawney Phil also does not see his shadow this morning at Gobbler's Knob.

Unlike two years ago, when his fingers chomped by Chuck - Bloomberg was not injured during the ceremony on Staten Island.

Wearing black leather gloves, marmot Bloomberg kept a safe distance as the animal writhed in his grip.

Although last year's Groundhog Day also passed without incident, Bloomberg joked famous people for days on its face-to-face with the Staten Island Zoo more.

"Last year I was civil," joked the mayor last week, "but you know, I never forgive and forget."

Zoo officials said Chuck - which is a new log home was custom designed by a local charity - the exact time predicted 24 of the last 30 winters.
