Tulsa, Okla. (AP) - The shock of Tulsa has signed new Marion Jones to a multiyear contract.
Representatives of the WNBA franchise not immediately return calls Wednesday reviewed the contract details.
Jones won his first start of the 2010 season in the last game of the regular season, scored a career-high 14 points. She played in all 34 regular season games, averaging 3.4 points on 52.5 percent shooting and 1.5 rebounds in 9.4 minutes per game.
Jones is best known for winning five medals in the sprint track at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney and later because she medals away because of steroid use is known.
She won a national championship in 1994 as team leader of North Carolina.
