(Photo credit: AP)Jessica Hahn was in the public eye after a sexual encounter with televangelist Jim Bakker in the 1980s. The story was in 1987 when it was revealed that Bakker had paid valve to keep a secret from the meeting. Bakker was forced out of the PTL Club, an organization he was resigning in 1975. Hahn has always maintained that the encounter was rape.
On "The View" Tuesday, Sherri Shepherd asked Hahn to the discussion of the "affair". Hahn apparently took offense and turned the question on Walters.
"It was not a case," she said. "Unlike, I do not want to be cruel or anything in your book" Audition "She had an affair with a senator."
As an interviewer she is qualified, Babs he turned right back around cock. "It's you, my dear. It's not about me, OK? "
So a small bite of a guest and a quick smack down by Barbara Walters. Sounds like "The View" that we all know and love.
Hahn was admitted Walters related in his autobiography that she had an affair with Senator Edward Brooke of Massachusetts in the 1970s. By the time Brooke was the first African American to be elected by the people in the Senate, and Walters was a rising star on the network news.
