The Oprah Winfrey Show aired an episode today where they and their vegan 378 staffers for A-Week Challenge. Guests of honor included the follow Michael Pollan and Kathy Freston, who eat together in their thoughts, what you should know about food, and Lisa Ling gave the public a look at a processing plant for beef.

As some of you may remember, Oprah has flirted with a vegan diet in 2008 when she went vegan for a 21-day cleanse that not only excludes food for her animals, but caffeine, sugar , alcohol, and gluten. As Kathy Freston book Quantum Wellness: A Practical and Spiritual Guide to Health and Happiness was the inspiration for his 2008 attempt to plant based diet, Freston's new book does a key role in the inspiration Oprah (and all their staff) to follow this week challenge.

Regardless of the fact that the show and Oprah leads the challenge of a week and its 300 + employees on a vegan lifestyle for a good hypothesis, we are pleased that Oprah is widely used as a platform for send a positive message about veganism. We are also very concerned about the new book by Kathy Freston is pleased that affect why a diet of plants is not only good for animals and the environment, but also your physical and mental well-being.
