In cold environments, announce the Front Range on Wednesday, closing schools - Denver Post

The continued cold weather has prompted some school districts to cancel classes for a second day Wednesday.

NOTE: Denver Public Schools will open on Wednesday.

  • All Cherry Creek Schools will remain closed Wednesday.
  • Aurora Public Schools and Pickens Technical College will be closed on Wednesday. In addition, all parties and activities have been canceled.
  • Adams County School District 50 will be closed on Wednesday.
  • Adams 12 Five Star Schools will be closed on Wednesday.
  • All schools in Douglas County, including kindergartens, child care and will be closed the Wednesday before and after school activities.
  • Adams 14 schools will be closed Wednesday, including all the activities pre-and extra-curricular activities, including courses for adults ILC.
  • Brighton School District 27-J - is closed on Wednesday.
