Logan said the CBS journalist attacked in Cairo, reports NY Post - Bloomberg

CBS Corp. TV journalist Lara Logan, correspondent for "60 Minutes" has been sexually assaulted, while the public's reaction to Cairo after the fall of President Hosni Mubarak, New York Post reported, citing a statement from the network TelVision.

Logan was raised by his crew and security detail by a mob on Friday, some of which, she submitted the separate "a brutal and prolonged sexual assault," the statement CBS said the report.

She was rescued by a group of women and about 20 soldiers and flew to New York the next day, told the Post.
