UPDATE 2:30 ET: News reports say Hydra Lacy died.
Another day, another account of the violence of firearms terrible.
Two St. Petersburg, Florida police officers were killed was a U.S. Marshal and is in stable condition while executing a search warrant at a house in St. Petersburg this morning. A local news report indicates that the suspect in the shooting Hydra Lacy, Jr., brother of boxer Jeff Lacy, former world champion super middleweight.
Authorities, a report on Fox local news site said, entered the house to serve an arrest warrant for aggravated battery Hydra Lacy.
The scene is deteriorating and shots were exchanged. Negotiators from the FBI, the report said, was called to try to defuse the situation. Lacy, the report is currently barricaded in the house.
The site says that Hydra Tampa Fox is no stranger to law enforcement.
He was arrested in 1988 for Grand Theft Auto, serious injury, arrest, and resistance, and was imprisoned for over three years. He was then arrested for aggravated kidnapping and sexual, and spent over 15 years in prison.
