Jack LaLanne Power Juicer Genius dead 96 - Examiner.com

Health and legendary fitness guru and inventor of the "Jack LaLanne Power Juicer at his home in Morro Bay, California, died January 23, 2011. He was 96 years. The cause of death was respiratory failure due to pneumonia. Lalanne is survived by his wife of 51 years, Elaine Lalanne. They had three children, Dan, Jon and Yvonne.

At age 80, Lalanne, handcuffs and chains, swam 1.5 miles, towing 80 boats, carrying 80 people from the deck Queensway Bay in Long Beach Harbor on the Queen Mary.
