Participants at annual polar bear plunge for a swim in the Chesapeake Bay in Annapolis.

Saturday plunge raises money for Special Olympics Maryland.

This is the 15th Annual Meeting of the polar bear plunge. Since 1997, the event has raised more than $ 16 million for Special Olympics.
