WACO-Tuesday night communicates Waco ISD school principal, he is director next.
Dr. Bonny Cain will come to Waco in Pearland, south of Houston, where she led one of the largest school districts in the state that received an exemplary rating. He holds more than three decades of professional experience in education.
Before becoming CEO of Dr.Cain Pearland ISD served as assistant superintendent, deputy director general for education, executive director and principal. She has also held teaching and principal positions at Alvin Community College and Mabank, Dickinson, Alvin, Bay City school districts.
She holds a Bachelor of Primary Education, an MA in counseling and reading specialists and a doctorate in educational leadership.
"I am honored to be the only finalist Waco ISD director shall be elected for," said Cain. "I am therefore pleased that the Board of Directors, staff and community students the best education while monitoring district resources prudently and efficiently.
School board member Pat Atkins told News Channel 25, you see, is a new day in Waco ISD. "
"We are very pleased that Dr. Bonny Cain as our sole finalist for superintendent" Atkins said that the chairman of the selection committee. "Through his outstanding leadership skills and extensive experience in the administrative district of the growth and financial resources, we believe it will lead our district to even greater success."
Mr. Cain was taken from 47 candidates and the laws of the State, must wait 21 days before being officially in place.
The school board has a meeting planned for February 24, they offer a contract as manager of Waco ISD.
