Notice of wind chill is in effect until I am 11 and a notice in force since winter is at 6 tonight through Friday at noon. The cold weather has prompted some schools in central Texas, classes, late Thursday.
* The Round Rock ISD Pflugerville ISD and all classes will start two hours late. All buses will also run for two hours too late.
* All schools in the Leander ISD will open two hours later than normal. Buses run two hours later and there will be no morning pre-K.
* Hutto ISD is also a launch delay. Early childhood and elementary campus will begin at 9:45 clock and Middle School campus will begin at 10:30 clock bus, two hours later than planned running regularly.
* Rawson-Saunders School for children with dyslexia will be opened at ten this morning.
* Texas State University has canceled the morning in San Marcos and Round Rock. All classes were canceled before 12:30 clock.
* Round Rock Montessori School will have a delayed start this morning. The school will open its doors at 9 am
