Rapid Reaction: Seahawks 16, Rams 6 - ESPN (video)

Thoughts on the game St. Louis Rams-Seattle Seahawks Sunday night: What it means Seattle will lose to the first team with a record of winning its division

Thoughts on the game St. Louis Rams-Seattle Seahawks Sunday night:

What this means Seattle will team with a losing record for the first, winning his division. The Seahawks (7-9) face the New Orleans Saints in a wild-card game at Qwest Field. Kickoff is 4:30 clock ET on Saturday. The Rams finished with a record 7-9, but Seattle has the tiebreaker based on a superior division record (4-2 to 3-3). The Seahawks have now won five NFC West titles in the past seven seasons.

What I liked: Seattle was aggressive and found Ruvell Martin, a former Ram, a gain of 61 yards on a receiver comprising four. That's about as aggressive as it got in the first half, but at least the Seahawks made a decisive blow. Martin was wide open. The Seahawks got their running game going, especially in the second half and that allowed them to control the game.

What I dislike: The players seemed to forget Rams Steven Jackson, their only Pro Bowl at the beginning of the game. They looked like a team without confidence in their running game, even though Seattle has struggled against the run. They ran around the end-which has lost 9 yards. They ran towards the middle of a group of four Jackson receiver. Karney they got cute with a rapid transfer of internal defender Mike. Seattle, meanwhile try to run the ball too early, despite the sad state of his game back this season. Marshawn Lynch carried out for less-4, 12, minus-3, zero, minus 5 and minus-one yards in the first half. It depends on six carries for less-1 yard.

Injuries (n) Note: Seattle has lost left guard Chester Pitts concussion. Seahawks left tackle Russell Okung return to play after aggravating an ankle injury.

Tomorrow's Spokesman: We will certainly inquire about this formula, if the NFL playoff seeding should be easy.

Big disclosure: Matt Hasselbeck was healthy enough to serve as No. 2 quarterback, but the Seahawks did not run. That surprised me. I thought that Seattle will not start if Hasselbeck called healthy enough to play, or it was the third quarter. Hasselbeck seemed to move as usual and throw in warm-ups.

Goat: Sat Rams quart Bradford has launched a crushing interception in the fourth quarter, St. Louis was hit hard this link could have been. I do not know if Bradford or receiver Brandon Gibson an injustice, but the results have been costly for St. Louis.

What's next: The Rams held on 14 choice of the NFL Draft, 2011. The Seahawks lead the wild card round.
