At the top hip-hop game can be glamorous, but it comes with a high price. People like Tupac said she felt like a prisoner of his own glory. But these are the women? That's what VH1 next series docu-soap "Love & Hip Hop" is.
The show follows four women, Mashonda and all of a common bond: their relationship to the world of hip-hop ... either by their husbands or careers. It will consist of eight pieces, capturing the struggles of Chrissy (who has been dating for six years Jim Jones) and Emily (who has a son with Fabolous), both the rapper and the need to navigate their relationship while maintaining self-esteem.
Somaya and Olivia are both artists attempted to break into male-dominated industry of hip-hop. Mashonda And, thus, has its history, before each game - left her ex-husband, Swizz Beatz, and she is now married with Alicia Keys.
The show will air March 14 at 9 pm ET / PT on VH1 together.
