"Crazy" event Krewe

WEBSTER - The Bay Area Alliance for Youth and Families will launch the start of a 5K run at 8 clock and the Festival of 10.00 bis 14.00 hours today at Clear View Education Center, 400 S. Walnut, in Webster.

There is also a Kiddie Parade, Carnival Crescent City and the Jackson Square Bazaar. There will be free for children games, crafts and entertainment.

Mardi Gras Parade

Galveston - Krewe D'Espirit Rosary has its annual Mardi Gras parade for 11 am today at Kempner Park, 27th and Avenue. O, Galveston.

Carnival Costume Contest

Galveston - The San Luis Resort, Spa & Conference Center is 27 San Luis annual costume contest at noon today at 5222, Seawall Blvd.

Winners will be selected on the basis of the costume theme and performance. Cash prizes are awarded.

Mardi Gras Ball, Parade Viewing Party

Galveston - The Tremont House's 27th Annual Mardi Gras Parade and Ball Viewing Party of 6 clock today at 2300 Mechanic Row in Galveston ship.

"The enchantment of India" is the theme.

Tickets for the ball are $ 200 per person. Breakfast is served to guests in the ballroom of the hotel from 11 hours

Attire is black tie or Indian clothing on the theme.

Momus Grand Night Parade

Mardi Gras parade, a carnival

Kemah - Krewe du Lac and the City of Kemah its ninth annual "Krewe Into Kemah Parade and Carnival Parade starts at noon Sunday on Harris Street to T-Bone Tom's in Kemah.

Kipp Street Eighth Street;; The route begins on Harris Avenue at Seventh Street and back to Harris Street.

Participation and admission is free to the event.

The carnival will be from noon to night at T-Bone Tom.

There is live music, costume contest, food, art and carnival market.

Krewe of Barkus Parade and Meoux

Galveston - Parade Marshals "Dorothy and Toto" is the Krewe of Barkus and 13th Meoux annual parade, sponsored by the Humane Society Galveston Island, Sunday at 1 hour run from 27th Street and Seawall Boulevard in Galveston.
