Celtics agree with Pavlovic - Boston Globe (blog)

The Celtics have been designed for Corey Brewer of the Dallas Mavericks, the swingman offered a multiyear contract, so they grabbed the old Cavalier Sasha Pavlovic for the rest of the season, according to an NBA source.

Pavlovic was a review of the Club of Cleveland, who was a leading competitor with the Celtics reached, but he was treated the Phoenix Suns in June 2009 in the Shaquille O'Neal trade than compensated.

He spent last season with the Minnesota Timberwolves and played with the Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Hornets this season for contracts of 10 days. The Hornets Pavlovic published February 14 and he was a free agent.

NBA games in 466, Pavlovic 5.4 points and 1.8 rebounds average. He is a fencer's career 35 percent 3-point and retains 7 of 21 in 14 games this season.

Pavlovic will log heavy minutes, but it will give Paul Pierce and Jeff Green from time to time the magic and depth.
