Rhapsody, MTV Music Promotion - Northwest Innovation
Seattle-based streaming music service Rhapsody and MTV Networks said today that both Rhapsody massive "advertising campaign" in programming and services, offers 60 days free. The two said the promotion, the promotion of MTV Networks and Rhapsody in the programming of social media and will include: MTV, MTV2, mtvU, Spike, Comedy Central, VH1 and CMT. The agreement includes tie-ins in some programs such as Tosh.o, Jersey Shore, and UFC. No information on the financial terms of the agreement wre not disclosed. Rhapsody said it now has over 750,000 subscribers, 100,000 were added because it was released by Real Networks in April.
