Post office, banks open New Year's Eve - Columbus Telegram

COLUMBUS - wait residents mail Friday, the Columbus Post will be awarded to be open for regular pickup and delivery Friday.

The post will be closed on Saturday for a vacation on New Year's Day and resume regular hours and services Monday.

The Columbus Telegram, the city of Columbus, Platte County Courthouse and the Columbus Senior Center will be closed Friday and opened to the public from Monday.

The Columbus Area Transit will be closed Friday and Saturday, but open and available for normal business hours of 1.30 bis 17.00 clock Sunday.

All banks in the area of business hours on Friday, New Year, with the exception of Columbus Bank and Trust and Pinnacle Bank, at 4 clock in the vicinity

All area banks will be closed Saturday in observance of New Year's Day and the hours of Monday again.
