Governor Ed Rendell PA on the NFL and snow: U.S. becoming a "Nation Of wuss - ABC News (Blog)

28. December 2010 Z. Byron Wolf 10.54 Clock ABC reported: Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell has raised eyebrows Sunday when he complained that the Philadelphia Eagles NFL offers regular games against the Minnesota Vikings because of the snowstorm that paralyzed most Part of the East Coast.

ABC Z. Byron Wolf reports:

Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell has raised eyebrows Sunday when he complained that the Philadelphia Eagles NFL has scheduled games against the Minnesota Vikings because of the snowstorm that paralyzed much of the East Coast.

He quibbles, Sunday, a meteorologist with the Philadelphia Sunday on the severity of the storm. Game on wrath Rendell moved completed Tuesday when he in "The Fanatic" Talk-show at a radio station in Philadelphia professional sports and expressed concern that the United States a "nation of wuss."

Coming into this a bit exaggerated, Rendell has suggested that Chinese football fans would be hot, walking in the snow for the game, and that mathematical equations, while the U.S. postponed the NFL game Sunday.

Rendell: Maybe it's because I am old, and I confess that I am old. But it just goes against everything all about football.

Rendell: It's part of what happened in this country. I think we become wuss. I agree with Will Bunch and I think in most places in the world, people would have laughed at us. It's football. I played football. I played in the snow. Fans can judgments. You can decide if they will play or they will go home after a little slower, take Broad Street, which was good last night. It is the fans.

Rendell: We are a nation of wuss. The Chinese are our asses to get in at all. Will Bunch is good to read what Will Bunch wrote?

ANCHOR: I think, Will Bunch is full of crap to be honest with you. I read this story.

Rendell: I think there is a Pulitzer Prize. Except in China, you think the Chinese have called you the game? He's right, people who were paraded into the stadium, they were gone, and they would do the calculation on the descent.

Rendell: What do you think Lombardi would say? He said we are a nation of wimps.
