The drama was previously known as Festival and later renamed to You\\\'ve Fallen For Me. Fans of the drama were able to vote and give ideas for the English title of the drama, and on May 9, 2011, the drama was announced to be named as Heartstrings.

Background Information

This drama\\\'s main lead, Jung Yong Hwa and Park Shin Hye, were originally paired from SBS\\\'s 2009 drama, You\\\'re Beautiful. Jung Yong Hwa\\\'s character in You\\\'re Beautiful, Shin Woo, was involved in a one-sided love relationship with Park Shin Hye\\\'s character, Mi Nam. This pair never got together in You\\\'re Beautiful and fans are looking forward to seeing the pair in Heartstrings.

Lee Shin may be a university student majoring within modern music. He can also be the vocalist and guitarist in the band \\\"The Stupid. \\\" Shin may be known for his good seems and strong passion intended for music, but in reality they\\\'re cold, lacks interest in whatever unrelated to music in addition to has neither dreams nor plans to the future. He initially enjoys Jung Yoon Soo, a dance professor at university, but this all improvements when he meets Lee Gyu claimed. Lee Gyu Won may be a bright and outgoing student who was born into a prestigious family and it is majoring in traditional Korean tools, especially the gayageum. Kyu Won\\\'s grandfather, Lee Dong gun, is one of the top part 3 traditional musicians regarding his age and his biggest wish could be to see his granddaughter become a normal music prodigy. Trying to meet her grandfather\\\'s expectations, Kyu Won immerses himself in training and becomes a university student who knows nothing outside of her studies. As her friends are fans regarding \\\"The Stupid\\\", she was forced in store the band\\\'s concert with them. There she saw Lee Shin performing live, and is right away captivated by him..
